About Your Experience

Outside of the physical (or digital) proof of our time together and your memories, the session itself will be a great experience! I love working with mommy's to be and newborns, but have experience with all sorts of types of photography!  I am very patient and dedicated to getting the pictures that you will love.

Planning Your Session

Prior to our session, we will discuss the main details of our upcoming session: location, feel of the shoot, any props you might want to incorporate, and any other details that are important to you. We will also discuss how you would like to display your final images, whether it be prints, canvases, an album, or maybe even in the digital format. From here, I will be able to help you choose a package that fits.

So, the question is, how soon should you schedule your session? And the answer is the sooner the better!  I like to put my creative touch on each and every session I photograph. This can take some time, as well as allowing for time to order props and find the perfect location. If your session is time sensitive, you will want to schedule early so you are guaranteed the specific date you want. Maternity and newborn sessions are perfect examples of sessions that should be booked in advance.

What to Wear

I want you to look back on your portraits and love all aspects of them. I can assist you while making your outfit choices so please ask. Your outfits will vary greatly depending on the type of portraits and your own personal style. I am comfortable working with very casual to the most formal so rest assured I will be able to provide you with portraits that you will love no matter what your style! Make sure to keep in mind your location and the style you're going for when choosing outfits.

Figuring Out The Details

I like to follow up with my clients sometime during the week prior to your session to make sure we are all set. But you can contact me any time with questions! On the day of, we'll get to the locale and get started. I love when my clients offer posing ideas and am up for trying just about anything. With that being said, your photos will be one of a kind as I will put my creative touch to them.

After Your Session

Afterwards, I'll get to work while you get to relax. Within 2 weeks (excluding Intimate Weddings and Elopements) your images will be available for review, but I often post a preview on Facebook much sooner for you to share! You will also see a blog post that showcases some of my favorites from your session! You will receive a link to your custom gallery where you can view your portraits. From here, you can choose your products which will be delivered directly to the address you provide. It's that easy!
