This beautiful mommy to be of twin girls looked amazing for her beach maternity session. I don't know that we could have picked a prettier color dress for her! I don't typically write much in my blog posts any more, I like for my pictures to do the talking.... BUT, as we were waiting for that pretty, beachy light, Lauren and I got to talking (which was super fun in itself!).
She was telling me about her earrings and how awesome it was that her floral crown was made of roses. It meant something to her. She was telling me about how her grandfather grew roses at his house and every day he would go out and pick one and give it to her grandmother. Isn't that sweet? So when he passed away and the house was sold, her aunt picked all of the roses that had bloomed and sent them to a company that turns them into jewelry, how cool is that? She explained to me that the aunt gave her these earrings for Christmas and how much it meant to her. It was really cool because you could see the pieces of the roses in the earrings.
I am so happy that the rose floral crown meant something to her and there will be a special connection to roses when I photograph her twins newborn portraits. I love when my clients have personal details added to their sessions. So not only am I writing to include this into my blog post but as a suggestion to future clients. When you can add a personal aspect, something that means something to you and your family, to your portraits, it gives them that final personal touch. So when you book, be sure to let me know these things in advance and as I am brainstorming and creating the perfect session for you, I can incorporate it into it.
